Forklift Attachments Cary - Cary City, in North Carolina is situated in Wake County and in parts of Chatham County. The city of Cary is considered to be a suburb of Raleigh City. Cary is the second largest municipality of Wake County and is the third largest, behind Durham and Raleigh, in the Triangle. The town's population has boomed during the past decade, increasing by 43 percent. It has grown from 94,536 individuals during 2000 to approximately 135,200 by 2010. Cary is amongst the fastest growing municipalities in the United States. It is the biggest town and seventh biggest municipality within the state of North Carolina.

The Triangle is an area created during 1959 as a research triangle park. Located in the triangle are three major research facilities: NC State University, Duke University, and UNC-Chapel Hill. The cities of Chapel Hill, Raleigh and Durham make up the three most significant research cities of RTP. The Triangle is bordered on three sides by the city of Durham and is halfway between the cities of Chapel Hill and Raleigh. The city of Cary is situated next to The Triangle within the Piedmont region. The town's west and north edges are bordered by RTP.

The Jordan Lake area is situated to the west of Cary City. This mountainous town has a humid subtropical type of weather, with hot summer temperatures that could reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The winters are mild with an average of seven inches of snow. The town has a total area of 43.5 square miles, based on the United States Census Bureau.

Cary was established in 1750 and was initially known as Bradford's Ordinary. When the North Carolina Railroad arrived in the mid 1800s, the area became a major transportation route. The very first settlers were Allison Francis Page along with his wife, Catherine Raboteau Page. A lumberman and farmer from Wake County, Page purchased land during 1854 and named it Cary to honor the past congressman of Ohio and prohibitionist, Samuel Fenton Cary. When the town was officially incorporated during 1871, Page became its very first mayor.

Meant for outdoor recreation; Cary City has many parks, consisting of Annie L. Jones Park, MacDonald Woods Park, Sears Farm Road Park, Fred G. Bond Metro park and White Oaks Park. The Hemlock Bluffs State Natural Area is a well-known destination area. Hoffman Lake, MacGregor Downs Lake and Holiday Acres Lake are fantastic locales for water sports and fishing. Each and every year the Town of Cary hosts various events and festivals such as Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamfest, Art Quilt Show and Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival.
