Forklift Attachments Broken Arrow - Broken Arrow (population 98,850) is a city in the state of Oklahoma, USA. It is the biggest suburb of Tulsa and is located in Tulsa County, which is a small part of Broken Arrow is in Wagoner County. It is the 4th largest city within the state. The Tulsa Metropolitan Area, of which the city of Broken Arrow is a part, has a population of 937,478.

Town lots were sold back during 1902 by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The then secretary of the company, William S. Fears, who chose the name Broken Arrow after an old Creek Indian community within Alabama. This community had many members who were forced to relocate to that part of Oklahoma along the Trail of Tears. The Indian name of the town was Rekackv, which meant broken arrow. The Creek settlement was situated just south of the existing downtown Broken Arrow.

Broken Arrow was first an agricultural community. Situated in the northeastern part of Oklahoma State between the Ozark Mountains and the Great Plains, the area is part of the Green Country region, the most ecologically diverse region of Oklahoma State. Seven of Oklahoma's 11 eco-regions are located here. The scenery features green vegetation, hills and lakes.

The current economy of Broken Arrow is rather diverse, with many manufacturers operating in different kinds of industries and businesses. The city has the 3rd highest concentration of manufacturers in Oklahoma.

The major private company is FlightSafety International (FSI), that designs and builds Flight Simulators at its Simulation Systems Division. About half of its 675 employees are engineers. Commercial developments are underway at different places in Broken Arrow, like for instance along Highway 51. A Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is the anchor to a major development which includes restaurants, hotels, offices and shopping. In 2010, construction was finished on a new medical office building and full-service hospital. During 2011, Dick's Sporting Goods opened within the city.
