Forklift Attachments Colorado

Forklift Attachments Colorado - Colorado is a U.S. state which encompasses a lot of the Rocky Mountains and the northeastern part of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Mountain States and the Western United States.

"Colorado" gets its name for the Colorado River, which was named by early Spanish explorers who referred to the river Rio Colorado owing the red colored silt that comes down the river from the mountains. The state was admitted to the union as the 38th state, when U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed their proclamation on the 1st of August, 1876. The state of Colorado is referred to as the "Centennial State" as it was admitted to the Union as the 38th state during 1876, the centennial year of the United States Declaration of Independence.

Colorado State is surrounded by the northwest state of Wyoming towards the north, the Midwest states of Kansas and Nebraska to the northeast and east, on the south by New Mexico and a small portion of the southern state of Oklahoma, and on the west by Utah. The four states of New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Arizona meet at one common point referred to as the Four Corners, which is referred to as the heart of the American Southwest. Colorado is one of only three U.S. states with no natural borders, the others being nearby Utah and Wyoming.

The state of Colorado is known for its vivid landscape of forests, mountains, high plains, mesas, plateaus, canyons, rivers, and desert lands. Based on the United States Census in the year 2010, the population is just over 5,000,000. There was an increase of 16.92% since the 2000 United States Census. Denver is the capital and the most crowded city of Colorado State. Residents of Colorado are called "Coloradans", though the archaic term "Coloradoan" is still used.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis estimates that the total state product in the year 2010 was $257.6 billion. Per capita personal income during 2010 was $51,940, ranking the state of Colorado 11th in the US. The economy of Colorado State broadened from its mid-19th century roots in mining when irrigated agriculture developed, and by the late 19th century, raising livestock had become important. Early business was based on the processing and extraction of agricultural products and minerals. Existing agricultural products are wheat, cattle, hay, dairy products and corn.

Colorado State has large amounts of hydrocarbon resources. Colorado State hosts seven of the country's 100 biggest natural gas fields and two of its 100 biggest oil fields, as per the Energy Information Administration. Conventional and unconventional natural gas output from several Colorado basins usually account for over half of yearly U.S. natural gas production. Colorado's oil shale deposits hold a projected 1 trillion barrels (160 km3) of oil - nearly as much oil as the entire world's proven oil reserves; the economic viability of the oil shale, however, has not been demonstrated.

The ridges and eastern plains of Colorado's high Rocky Mountain offers wind power, while there is a potential for geothermal power development since the mountain regions offer much geologic activity. Most parts of Colorado are sunny and able to produce solar power. Major rivers flowing from the Rocky Mountains offer hydroelectric power resources. Corn grown within the flat eastern part of Colorado offers potential resources for ethanol production.
